281 to win. Looking at the forecast for next week, we probably need to win it to stay in the title race as I can't see how the Essex game gets to a result unless it clears up significantly.

Fingers crossed for you nemo. No wickets for Abbott works all round. Surrey still have it in them to put up a score here too.

After Pierre put down his people yesterday I thought I’d put down mine: Pretty good mix there I think. Two Hampshirites oddly. Call it recency bias.

Stevens recency bias as well? I'd done mine before he dry humped us into submission on day 1 to be fair

No. He’s been good all season, taking wickets for fun. Granted he hasn’t been quite as prolific with the bat.

Higgins for Stevens probably the only change I'd make from Balladeer's side. Maybe Olly Robinson for Rushworth, although Rushy is thoroughly deserving too.
Top scoring players in the fantasy league, for context:
Higgins 3298 Harmer 3046 Labuschagne 2789 (from 10 games) Jeetan Patel 2758 Dane Vilas 2636
Jeetan not getting a look in for anyone's side...

Perhaps I’ve underestimated Higgins. In my defence he is playing in Div. 2.
Perhaps it’s just the Gloucs. effect. Chris Dent also has a good average as a Div. 2 opener, but I’d forgotten he existed and have been quietly impressed with Notts.’ next opener Hasan Azad.

9/4 since lunch. This game seems to swing violently from session to session.
Edit: Nine for five. Holy Stevens this is bad.

What's the record for most number of wickets in a match, anyway? Abbott has 15 now.

What's the record for most number of wickets in a match, anyway? Abbott has 15 now. The all time best ever first-class figures for a Hampshire bowler is 16-88 - achieved by Jack Newman against Somerset in Weston-super-Mare in 1927.
