Ok but how does going off for bad light in a floodlit match that's deliberately held in the dark happen? D'oh.
Edit: Ahh, low sun apparently. Yesterday too wet, today too sunny.

Sussex fielding a 2nd XI bowling attack today of Rashid Khan, Ollie Robinson, Tymal Mills, Reece Topley and Danny Briggs. Absolutely brutal stuff!

Surrey have improved a scary amount in a week.
Conceded 225 from 15 overs last Friday, the second highest total in all t20s not using the full 20 overs (highest is England chasing down 230 in 2016 World Cup in 19.4 overs). Improved, but still conceded over 200 again against Middlesex on Tuesday
Then tonight, they smash through Glammy for 44, third lowest t20 score ever and lowest in county cricket. Sussex needn’t turn up tomorrow if they’re going to continue like that

_Is there anything Ryan Higgins can’t do? Brought on as a specialist final over bowler, AND it lists that he bowls both spin and medium pace. What a man. ...admittedly, Gloucs lost...

Yorks needing 38 runs off 5 overs conspire to fucking tie against Warks. Utter joke this team in this format, no bottle at all, team selection is beyond ridiculous

Another enterprising knock of 39 of 17 balls from Tom Banton, he has to be in the next England T20 squad.

The unbelievable figures of 4 overs 7-18 from Colin Ackermann hand Leicester a very good win over the Birmingham Bears.

Watched the last couple of Kent games and they have fallen away a little after a fast start. Sussex look the team to beat for me, brutal at the top of the order and that bowling attack!

Weather 8-0 Cricket. A painful day financially for some of the smaller clubs.

2 games yesterday, 5 today and 2 tomorrow. Weather's bliss. Feels like they've wasted a big opportunity for good crowds.
Comp is hotting up nicely, with Sussex through and only Glam out in the South, either Hants or Essex to join Glam today. Similar in the North with only Lancashire through so far. 4 of the 5 teams with four no results are at the bottom of their groups, the other team being Lancashire, oddly.

6 teams now through to the quarter finals: Lancs, Notts, Derbys, Worcs, Sussex, Gloucs.
5 of the 6 are in Champo Division 2 and Notts will be next season. Middlesex could make that six tomorrow.
