Div. 1:
Yorks. vs. Som. (Headingley) Essex vs. Warks. (Chelmsford) Hants. vs. Kent (The Bowl) Notts. vs. Sur. (TB)
Div. 2:
Lancs. vs. Sus. (OT) Glam. vs. Middx. (Sophia Gardens) Dur. vs. Worcs. (CLS) Derbs. vs. Northants. (Chesterfield) (14th) Gloucs. vs. Leics. (Cheltenham) (15th) and vs. Worcs. (21st)
(Other matches start on the 13th.)
With both Essex and Somerset having won again last round, the race is still very much on. Somerset are deprived of Gregory and Leach due to the Lions game, and given that they're playing away that could be telling; Essex aren't expected to miss Porter much, not against a Sam Hain and Sibley-less Warwickshire at Fort Chelmsford. The other five teams play as well...
Sorry, the other fifteen teams! Yes, everyone's in action this round, and two teams twice given the Cheltenham Festival! It's the top two games that see predicted strong teams against promotion favourites, but Durham vs. Worcestershire is worth a gander. On paper Worcs. should steamroll Durham, but they're playing away and Durham are (oddly, to their fans) on an upward streak. Could there be something of interest in the Chester-le-Street wind? Also: a reminder that Derbyshire, somehow, are third. There is everything to play for for everyone in Division 2!

Oh, a Worcs or Gloucs skipper this week looks tempting.
Somerset really should be okay with an attack of Joverton, Coverton, Brooks, Davey and Bess. That's the kind of strength in depth we've planned for with the Brooks signing I guess.
Big gap in Championship schedule of a month or so after this.

Anyone not skippering Ryan Higgins needs their head looking at I reckon

Probably fair. Maybe Joe Leach.

Definitely Joe Leach. For Colly's sake.

6-23 from Matt Parkinson and the other four to Glenn Maxwell on the first day at OT. Sounds a bit spicy...

All the Surrey wickets fell to spin too, some interesting Day 1 pitches!
Bloody nice seeing your fantasy players do well in the flesh, weirdest hundred I've ever seen but pleased with Felix Organ after he accidentally got promoted to my XI after I forgot about the lions game. He had 18 by lunch (opening), smashed 3 sixes to reach a rapid 50 off just the 158 balls, and then completely lost concentration after his big celebration to get out for exactly 100.
Hampshire have managed to field today players from England, Wales, Australia, South Africa, India, US, Italy and the West Indies, with their 12th man eligible for New Zealand...
Looks like Yorkshire might want a say in this title race yet, as Essex's 245 is decent for Chelmsford plus Warks without Sibley & Hain

Might be slightly stretching the point to describe Gareth Berg as 'from' Italy but I appreciate the effort at forming a UN Select XI. I wonder if I can do a whole team of County Cricketers from/eligible for somehow non-test playing nations...
Benny Howell (Gloucestershire/France) Ian Holland (Hampshire/USA) Sam Hain (Warwickshire/Hong Kong) Michael Richardson (Durham/Germany - keeper) Delray Rawlins (Bermuda/Sussex) Gareth Berg (Italy/Hampshire) Paul van Meekeren (Netherlands/Somerset)
Hmm, struggling for new nations rather than repeats. Is there anyone interesting playing for PNG/Denmark these days? Where's old Amjad when you need him...

Yeah, a few of those are just passport anomalies, but still a surprisingly large number.
I'll add Jonty Jenner (the fringe of Sussex's 2nd XI/Jersey) Brad Wheal (Hants/Scotland) (or Josh Davey if you fancy someone a bit more Scottish)

5 wickets for Stevens. Can England give him a t20 game or something for the bants? Absolute hero of the game
...or, further to the above discussion, maybe an honorary passport from Oman?

Fantastic spell of bowling from Amar Virdi, career best 8-61.

Today is day 3 of a 4 day 360 mile bike ride, frankly I'm knackered, aching and almost in tears but yorks performance these first 2 days has cheered me up a tad

Will Rhodes on for a 10-fer here. Whaaaaat?!
Notts on for another battering. Seems odd that in a home game they predicted the pitch so woefully wrong and have about 3 seamers too many.
