Div. 1:
Som. vs. Hants. (Taunton) Notts. vs. Essex (Trent Bridge) Yorks. vs. Sus. (Scarborough) Kent vs. Warks. (Canterbury)
Div. 2:
Glam. vs. Worcs. (Sophia Gardens) Lancs. vs. Dur. (Sedbergh) Derbs. vs. Middx. (Derby) Sus. vs. Northants. (Hove, I think)
Now this is more like it. All but two teams involved, all but two matches at non-outgrounds (and one of those is the pictureseque Scarborough), some big games: it's a round to ignore the World Cup for.
Somerset vs. Hampshire is the big game of Division 1, but there are no small games. The title contenders vs. the title contenders until last round at Taunton; Essex aiming to challenge for the top spot at TB, against a decidedly out-of-sorts Nottinghamshire team, in a game will have Somerset watching their back; Scarborough, its seaside delights, and a resurgent Surrey; and what still feels like a relegation dogfight despite Notts.' performance and the one relegation spot.
As for Div. 2, who'd have believed me if I said Glamorgan would be playing in the big match of the round? But it's true. You'd expect Lancshire to roflstomp Durham and Sussex to breeze past the last-placed team, but Glamorgan are in the lead however briefly, and Worcestershire have been short of their famed bouncebackability of late. Also, who'd have thought that Derbyshire might just be favourites against Middlesex?
Should all be good and a nice distraction from England effectively crashing out against India.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if 2 of Glamorgan, gloucs or Derbyshire finished in the top 3 this year and stuck 2 fingers up at the ecbs plan to get all the big boys in d1

Isn’t Glamorgan a big boy though? They have a Hundred and Test ground.

Oh Yorkshire, for the love of god 180/1 to 220/6. No surprise shown here.

Somerset, on the other hand, is not. And I know you did well to get maximum batting points chaps, but you didn't have to lose 4-1 immediately afterwards.

Genuinely can't wait for the Dickson/Azad/Sibley top three that England will have come the final Test of the Ashes.

Abbott went from the fairly naff figures of 15.2 overs, 2-79 to finish on 17.5 overs, 6-84. Carries the team sometimes. Comms were calling it a good toss to lose and expecting Somerset 5 down by lunch this morning, so they've had a great day.
Kent are on fire suddenly, or perhaps just Warks and Notts are that much weaker than the rest...
Labuschagne still plugging away surprisingly, whipped him out of my fantasy team as I thought he'd gone! Single handedly turned them into a decent team.

I've been researching on a daily basis to see how long Labuschange is staying around...been my skipper for about 2 months and i'm not changing that until the last possible moment!
Meanwhile, over at Scarbados, happy to see it a bit more cloudy today but am fearful of a long day or so in the field for Yorks.

Argh cripes, Jimmy’s knackered himself and the remaining Lanky bowlers have still managed to skittle Durham. Worst of both worlds.

Warwickshire so desperate to avoid the follow on they're going at under 3 an over and only just managing the 3rd batting point... flat pitch, slow scoring, feel sorry for anyone watching that one! Stevo's bowling is on point tho

Somerset and Essex well set for big wins. Feel Yorkshire need to win today to go with them or looking like a 2 horse race.
D2 looking fairly dull other than Sussex being shite yesterday

Surrey'll win this as will Somerset, Poachinghamshire are on the ropes again and staying rock bottom, hahahahahaha, other than that, will take something special for anyone else to lose today you'd think. Over to you then Durham.....
