Div. 1:
Sur. vs. Yorks. (Guildford) (Monday) Notts. vs. Hants. (Nettleworth) (Sunday) Kent vs. Som. (Canterbury) (Monday)
Div. 2:
Worcs. vs. Lancs. (New Road) (Monday) Sus. vs. Gloucs. (Arundel) (Tuesday) Leics. vs. Middx. (Grace Road) (Monday) Glam. vs. Derbs. (Swansea) (Tuesday) Dur. vs. Northants. (CLS) (Monday)
Bloody confusing round, this, over three starting dates. Mismatches ahoy in both divisions, with only Surrey vs. Yorkshire seemingly close; but Leics. vs. Middx. could be surprisingly close given Middlesex's predilection for batting terribly this season. Glamorgan suddenly being favourites could come back and bite us in the bottom too.

Sunday Bloody Sunday. What a great song. It really encapsulates the frustration of a Sunday, doesn't it? You wake up in the morning, you've got to read all the Sunday papers, the kids are running round, you've got to mow the lawn, wash the car, you realise another round of fixtures has started without making changes to your fantasy team and you think "Sunday, bloody Sunday!"

Div. 1 is a two-horse race already.
So Hampshire’s going to win it, aren’t they.

I'm not so sure, I gave us no chance whatsoever at the start of the season, but we could actually push at the top spot too. Our last 2 matches vs Essex and Hants with a few hours less lost to rain we could have won both of them. I actually think it could come down to the weather this year, lose time against the right / wrong team could make a huge huge difference. As for this round - it's going to wang it down the next 3 days in Notts, so Hants are likely to be frustrated against a team there for the taking, for me, a rain affected draw away to Surrey, in spite of their form, would be a much better result in comparison.

Looks pretty filthy in general. Are we going to see any cricket today?

Looks pretty filthy in general. Are we going to see any cricket today? Should be OK up north for the first couple of hours at least.

Fantastic effort from Lancashire to bowl Worcestershire out for 98, Anderson, Onions and Mahmood bowling extremely well.

Will Beer opening for Sussex is a left-field one. Also Burns not playing for Surrey has stuffed my fantasy team something chronic.

Who have Somerset broken?

Busy day at Canterbury, still going at 5 past 7 and 22 wickets have fallen in the day.
Also, my fantasy team up the swanny with Burns and Hamza not playing and captain Abbas watching the rain fall. Always feel like the main thing that would make me better at fantasy cricket would be a degree in meteorology.

May as well close this thread now. Cricket in June, what a waste of time

I'd have been more than happy to see Kent stay off. Only going to be one winner the way this is going.
