Yeah, impressive win, well deserved on the day. Stupid scheduling; Hampshire fans conflicted with an England match at the Ageas, and the ECB's scheduling was awful; they should've known about the ICC cut off date; if not Hampshire with Vince and Dawson, it could easily have been Lancashire losing Buttler, Notts losing Hales, etc.
On the actual match front, I don't get why Hants batted first. I know we've set totals over 300 every time this season, but with Berg at 6 starting the lengthy tail and Somerset's quality bowling line up, that was a huge risk. If batting first, surely you'd include Taylor/Holland instead of Wood, for some extra batting. Ah well. Somerset fantastic on the day and the likes of Hildreth, Trego etc deserve a win after so so many silver medals.

What are the fans singing to the tune of the Moeen/Hashim chant, does anybody know? Azhar Ali. Very nice day out that, bright and sunny and a comfortable win really. Definitely a shame that Hants were without their key players, want to see the best possible game and that wasn't really it. Really pleased for Hildreth getting the winning runs, Joverton picking up three wickets and Trego for finally picking up a trophy.
