With Hants all but relegated, barring a miraculous end to the season, who will join them in going down to Div 2?

Still a bit hard to imagine, by my vote's with Notts.

Sri, Notts and Somerset have enough class in the ranks to stay up. Worcs depend on Ajmal and, possibly, on umpires to be a little generous if his action slips a little straining to get the wickets that the side needs to stay up. Batting weak. Bowling depends too much on a couple of players.

Notts. looking slightly safer from the drop now. It's all finely balanced at the moment, but Sussex and Worcs. look like they're about lose a match each.

Right now Sussex and Worcestershire look to be in real danger, with Somerset slipping back into the danger zone. I'll stick with Worcestershire to go down with Hants, who are pants.

Looking back this is quite amusing. Unless you're a Sussex supporter.

To be fair, I did say barring a miraculous end, and this was most certainly that.
