Lack of concentration for Richardson then? He has played some important knocks in partnerships, I just felt it's preventing him becoming a really good player. Fair enough. I saw his first innings dismissal, and for all intensive purposes, he just missed the ball. Yes he maybe got a bit too head on but he just played on the wrong line. What do you think of the academy guys? Any caught your eye specifically? What about Clark or is he going to be more One Day suited? Replacing Collingwood will be tough, you need that dobbly medium pacer to just change things up really. Dylan Budge, too early to call, but I'm going to say, he will be the next in the Ben Stokes mould of hard-hitting all-rounder. Arshad looks good in the T20s and I see him playing more in the 50-over this season. He plays at No.4 for the seconds, so he might develop into a very handy lower order bat, like Hastings. Coughlin looked very good this season, until he got injured and I expect him to feature more and more if he is fit. But fitness seems to be a real concern for quite a few of the seamers. And of those who haven't played, I see Stuart Poynter making his debut sooner rather than later.

Yeah I remember you saying about Budge. Arshad's a bit of a lower order hitting i'd imagine, definitely a Hastings type.
Coughlin is good, he can bat too, how long is he out injured for?
What about Peter Chase what happened to him? The Poynters both seem to be a bit average from what I've heard/seen

But I wouldn't have him anywhere higher than six though. Coughlin injury layoff exact time yet unknown, he was due to undergo a scan yesterday. Re Chase, he is with Ireland for the World T20 qualifiers.

His wicket won't be in vain! Squater Ambrose and Evans can see them over the line!

His batting stance is squatty. Not sure that's a word but it is now Donald is looking very promising!

Go away rain, Essex need the result their play justifies.

Batted Aneurysm. Cruel nickname, perhaps, but too obvious to pass up. DurvWar in the balance at the moment.
