Hants trying to rival Durham on the crapometer for this week; a batting line up so strong we had Dawson (Career CC average 32) at 9, and Abbott (Career Cc average 25) at 10, yet on a pitch where Essex cracked 435, we managed a superb 172 ao, and look set to lose despite Day 1 being weathered off

Mahoosive win for Kent. Coupled with the Sussex defeat we might just have a promotion chance.

Lancs 96, Hants 95, Yorks 94, Worcs 87. This shall be fun. The Leicestershire promotion flirtations look to be almost over with them 40 points behind Kent in 2nd. Presumably two of Warks, Kent and Sussex now. Middlesex only seem to have James Harris turning up for them so I can't see them closing the gap... 8 bonus batting points in 10 games is woeful!

Not a single day of the remaining 35 championship games falls on a weekend. And they wonder why nobody’s turning up...

As a Londoner I was looking for a weekend day in the final couple of rounds to take my girlfriend to. It would have been her first match.
Hahahaha. Shower of Bastards.
