The first wicket feels oddly unsurprising. We’re back down to one match again as well.

Things are not really going the way I expected for Middx. Shame.

Quite the collapse going on at Hove. Can always rely on Sussex for some batting banter.

Taunton's looking spicy this season. Bounce as much as anything else, means that we've had an odd mix of really attacking batsmen piling on the boundaries (Hi Matt, glad you're here) and seamers running through teams.

Tempting as it is to come on here and slag off another seemingly fucking useless batting performance, i'm instead going to say fair play to Renshwaw, must have been on a different strip to the other 21 people who batted today, his innings basically the difference between the 2 teams

I'm holding out little hope of a win at Tauton, or even a draw, but will be avidly watching Youtube throughout the majority of the day til it's wrapped up

Weather looking good Pierre? It’s fairly grim in and around London.

I'm seeing lots of Somerset heads saying a reasonable forecast, but can't see much play happening in London today indeed, it's grim here and I'm maybe three miles from Lord's. Fantasy captain Murtagh may be robbed of any further points, but fairly happy with over 1400 already in a rain affected round - Hogan and Timmmmmmmmm van der Gugten were good transfers.

I’ve never been to Hull, I’m sure it’s lovely.
Also quite amused that somebody already had the handle ‘@fuckingweather’.

I can confirm, as someone who went to school in Hull, and lived about 20 miles outside of it for most of my childhood that it did used to be a bit of a shit hole, but has been significantly revamped and is actually now a really nice place. The ill informed assumptions and assertions made about Hull's shitness are only now true of the football team sadly.
BBC weather suggesting Taunton will bo OK today, to be honest, they may only need a session and a half to wrap this up. As for fantasy cricket, captaining Kyle Abbot who currently sits on 0 points was a frigging disaster.

looks like they'll get a full day's play in Manchester, which just feels wrong to type. This gives Lancashire a decent chance at a first win of the season

Yorks win by an innings. My life as a bipolar cricket fan is on a high....prob soon to return to the crumbling lows of last year..... ...oh.
