Pretty despondent after Yorkshire lack of batting display, pleased to see Hameed with a proper Cowan

Good timing by Hales given the dearth in options at the top for England. Fair play if he earns himself another chance. Yorks need to be relegated, and need to rebuild in D2. With Siddy done this summer and Baristow, Root, Rashid, Willey, Plunkett and poss even Ballance consistently lost to England, we won't be competative in this league and it's doing out batting line up no favours getting panned by fans and oppo bowlers week in week out.

Out for 218 to the only good bowler in the Derbyshire attack. Steady all.

Stoneman'll be jinxing Hameed for all he's worth. Although he's probably lost Bayliss' attention with that SR.

This has been such a banter innings from Hameed, strike rate less than half anyone elses, even Chanderpaul! But he's still there...

Which is more than Chanderpaul is. Or Buttler.

Morning all, looking forward to Hameed's match-defining 150 and everybody falling asleep. Feels a bit like that Strauss innings in... NZ I think? where he was hideously out of form, scratched his way to a hideous century, then got his form back straight afterwards.
I'll have to catch up later though, work now!
