Unsurprisingly, India, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Pakistan qualify for the World Cup. India will play South Africa in the final of the qualifier on Tuesday.

Whadda comeback from England’s bowlers! If they can just hold their nerve...
...which they couldn’t.

However bad things are for you right now, it could be worse: you could be an Irish bowler.

Urk. Decider. Tryon looking to go downtown. Could still be a substantial chase if she keeps going...
Meanwhile what is Amy Jones doing in the side?

This is not a fun game. Slow pitches are not fun in women’s cricket. I know the weather’s been bad for grass-growing, but still. Bobbins.
Also NZ are quite bad.

Ellyse Perry is too good. Just too good.
Her last 8 innings: 116, 76*, 7*, 47*, 60*, 33*, 112*, 33*. Not out since 18th July in the WAshes. Oh, and she's taken 8 wickets since then (in 7 innings) including 5 wickets at 8 vs West Indies... Oh, and she was a very good international footballer, debuting at 16...
Test batting avg: 78, bowling: 18 ODI batting avg: 53, bowling: 24 t20i batting avg: 30, bowling: 19
To me those stats stand out as her being further clear of the rest of world cricket than Bradman was, which is remarkable.

Nice in a way to see Kim Garth debuting for Australia today, very much women's cricket's Eoin Morgan in being a prodigy in Ireland forced to go elsewhere for lack of opportunities to make a living. Hope she goes far and that Irish cricket develops to a point where the next generation can stay where they are.

Ashleigh Gardner is such a cheat code. 196/4 in a WT20I. 130 off the last 10 overs!
