Australian cricket is bogged down in Marshes these days. You're not implying that they should drain the swamp are you?!

A good list I found of the next potential men to 'get a go' for Australia. www.abc.net.au/news/2016-11-16/generation-next-the-batsmen-that-could-save-australian-cricket/8029710Obviously with Voges injury last night there is likely to be another spot up for grabs as concussion doesn't heal too quickly. (It was a horrible blow for those who haven't seen it - it's on the Daily Mail website if people are feeling nosey) Arguably the best option at the moment would be Kurtis Patterson, I mentioned him in the summer and he's started brightly enough this term to get a chance. Stoinis seems to be a player the media love but having seen him play he just looks a good FC player.

I think Australia will pick at least two players from that list for the last test, most likely Patterson and Renshaw or Bancroft. I agree Stoinis does not look at the moment to be test standard.

5 changes to the squad. Mennie drooped after one test, Burns dropped after one test back, Renshaw brought in, clearly the Aussies like what we've done with Hameed!

I thought Kurtis Patterson would get the nod but not to be. Handscomb, Maddinson, Chadd Sayers, Renshaw, Wade and Bird would mean 6 changes. That is a sign that the selectors mean business. Had O'Keefe been fit, he would have taken Lyon's place.

Not sure that changes much. They still haven't picked their best young batsman.

Fantastic century from Faf, unbelievable considering the week he has had. South Africa getting to a slightly below par score of 259.

That was a lovely cheeky declaration with Warner off the field and therefore unable to open.

Don't mess with Francois. Great stuff. Will miss his captaincy when AB comes back.

I think they should just give him the captaincy full-time now.

Blimey, whaddamatch this is turning out to be. At the same time, the conditions seem radically different at night and during the day. Would raise questions of fairness if the toss wasn't already what it was.

Fantastic knock from Khawaja, setting up the match nicely.

SA out for 250 leaving Aussies to chase 126 for a consolation win. Cook's solo act when his place was questioned was great. Warner and Renshaw going solidly so far, 13/0 with 114 needed for a win.
And they have done it after losing 3 wickets. At least that broke off a losing streak that had been going on for a long time.
