Vince just took a catch in the first warm up game.
I thought Vince actually catching something deserved a thread.

I did think this probably deserved its own thread. But what an OP. Truly a momentous day.
England have pulled it back well... although I suspect that might have been because the BCBXI's only really good player was at the top of the order. 6 wides is a tad worrying as well.
Not sure why this match wasn't given List A status, since it seems to be 11 vs. 11, but there you go.
EDIT: Vince opens the batting. What odds he scores a ton at ARAB and Duckett doesn't get a bat?

I had forgotten Vince was in the squad. Quite surprised he's playing, but with no Root, Hales or Morgan there probably is room for Vince, Duckett and Bairstow.

Not sure Kayes was their only good player when the national team captain is playing 4 - this is a fairly strong side by warm up standards.

He's been suffering for form though. In any case they blew away the lower order once he was out.
A pretty 48, eh? How very Vincian.

Caught behind is a bit less Vincian than in the cordon though...

This is getting a little bit tense now. You wouldn't have thought that basically the England first-choice XI (minus Hales and... well, minus Hales) would struggle against the warm-up side.

Fantastic partnership between Buttler and Ali takes England to a comfortable win in the end.

Players we knew are good at LO batting turn out to be good at LO batting. Who'da thunk.

South Africa (best test side away from home at the time) and India couldn't beat Bangladesh at home, what hope do England have.
