First 14 wickets of the second game all go to spin, I wonder if it's a bit dusty. Jomel Worrican 8-34!
Livingstone bowling a lot of overs.

Looks to me like England's county players need much more experience on pitches that turn

Have you any particular pitch in mind? 422 though. That ain't great. No support for Leach. Loving the Cornwall cameo there.

A lot of changes for the third game - Saqib Mahmood, Dom Bess and Richard Gleeson joining the bowling attack for Wood, TRJ & Crane (off to NZ in spite of his relative success on this tour), and Sam Northeast getting a game, which at least proves the ECB have heard of him.

Good first day for the lions with Mahmood, Gleeson and Leach impressing.

Bess took more wickets in an evening than Crane in two games though, so cidery silver linings

Have Windies just gone full circle and utterly rejected quick bowling? If they've got spinners like Cornwall and Warrican coming through who can rip through a not inexperienced Lions team again then why not I guess?

Pitches in the Windies domestic cricket have been super spinner friendly for a while, check out the averages that people like Nikita Miller (500 wickets at 16!!!) , Warrican himself (200 at 19) and Gukadesh Motie (85 at 20, he's 22!) have. Doesn't translate into international cricket particularly well though.
In a proof that everything is circular, spinner friendly pitches get blamed for them not producing quicks like they used to!

Weird innit....have to think though, that if they could bring through some of these spinners, prepare sub continent style pitches, which they certainly have the weather for, they'd certainly have more of a chance at home against us (well they do anyway), Aus, SA and NZ and would be more prepared for away matches in India/SL as well. It may be the sensible long term approach, who knows?

I thought that's basically what they do nowadays anyway? Unspoken reason being their batsmen aren't good enough to handle fast bowling on fast pitches.

Matt Parkinson looking the leg spinner England should be getting excited about - hope he gets games for Lancashire next season

England should clearly reverse things and go 3 spinners and 1 seamer.
Anderson, Crane, Bess and Parkinson.

With Mo and Stokes in as batsmen, it's not entirely unreasonable...
