Forgot that Yorkshire/Essex was on Sky, looks like a pretty good crowd at Chelmsford, always tends to draw good support.
On a very random note I really like the purple one-day kit of Yorkshire.

Plunkett did exceptionally well at the back end of the innings, a crucial 49 when Yorkshire were only looking at around 200.
Surrey out for 273 too.
Both set up for interesting chases!
Edit: Plunkett's little cameo turned out to be the difference. Boo.
My god, what an incredible innings from Coles. From such a hopeless position, too. Stunning, shame he couldn't see it out for his side.
Semi's:
Gloucestershire v Yorkshire.
Notts v Surrey.

Blimey. I had written Kent off and then I had to write them back in.
Such a shame Coles couldn't drag them over the line, but what an innings.

That was so brutal to see us fall short, but was still something special. We were gone with 11 overs to go, 100 needed with 2 wickets left. Pfft. Coles is a brilliant player and the innings was a thing of mental strength, resilience & skill. It's just gutting that he couldn't see us home. Even so, it was a superb knock and we had no right to be in the position at the end where we could have snatched it. Even though i come home on the train disappointed, im more optimistic about our future than i have been for a few years. Empty handed at the end of the year, but we have progressed as a team.

Let's go! Come on Gazza. For the first time in a while, I find myself supporting Yorkshire, purely for Gaz Baz reasons.
Although if Fuller keeps bowling like this, he may not get a chance to bat.

Painful for Lyth but great knock. In his element in the county game.

That was pathetic umpiring. Why don't you just give Yorks the title.
He has caught the ball and was in complete control of it and then released it. How the hell is that not out.

Some solace for Norwell.
Edit: Yorkshire losing their way a little, good stuff from Glous. No Plunkett to score some quick runs at the end either, although Bresnan still in.

66 runs from the last 15 overs. Poor batting from Yorks. But wonderful comeback from Glos.
Go Captain Klingon

Glos easily set now for a remarkable victory. Klinger masterclass again.

Easy does it. Captain Klingon sees Glos home.
Given the form he is in, what are the odds on Klinger replacing Warner for the remaining ODIs? It will certainly save him a trip to Australia and back, before the Lord's final in two weeks time.
