To go from 100/0 in 12 overs to finish with 153 from the 20 overs, is disappointing from Zim.
They might live to regret that, now that Afghanistan are on the rampage now, 57/1 after 7 overs.

Yep, Zim really trailed off in their innings and allowed Afghanistan to snatch the first game. Pleased for them though, really putting in some impressive performances.

Valiant attempt by Namibia's middle order but it was little too late, as Ireland win comfortably by an innings and 107 runs, claiming maximum points.

Zim do only what they can. Look brilliant and absolutely pathetic in a single innings. Nonethless I feel 191 might be too stiff a task for even his Afghan outfit.

Brilliant 50 from Sean Williams. Finally a score that nearly represents Zimbabwe's complete talent. Hopefully they can win this for confidence purposes!

I sincerely hope they do Steadzz, while I would like the Afghani fairytale to continue, I'd rather see a once great nation restore some credibility at the least, at the end of their busiest period of cricket in quite some time.
Sean williams deserve a win.

Maiden T-20 fifty for Usman Ghani, a potential star for the future. Match still in the balance.

Wow, brilliant effort from Afghanistan, thriller of a game. On top of that, it's another historic moment for an Associate side with a T20i series win against a full member. Their victory is only dimmed by Zim's further regression, sad to see when the talent is there. What a tour for Afghanistan though.

And there you have it Afg pull off a thriller. Zim did well pull things back, but eventually it wasn't to be as Afghanistan made history yet again by clinching their first T20 series win over a full member.

Japan beat China by 9 wickets in East Asia Men's T-20 Championships.
China 56 (19.2/20 ov) Japan 57/1 (7.0/20 ov)
Most of the players fully homegrown, shows cricket can become a truly global sport if the ICC and the Big 3 want it to.

Feel bad for Nepal though. They've got a mostly home-grown team and their fans are very enthusiastic. They could be the next Afghanistan.
