Root to be shuffled to 3 apparently. Hmmmmmm. Not sure I’m fond of this.

Soooooo... anyone want to make some predictions?
Most runs, England: Jos Buttler, two fifties one hundred. Most runs, Australia: Steve Smith (duh), two fifties two hundreds. Most wickets, England: Stuart Broad through sheer number of matches played, as Jimmy and Chris get rested and Sam doesn't play as many games as he should. Most wickets, Australia: James Pattinson to feast on England's weak top order. Most likely player to be axed after two Tests: Rory Burns, sadly. Most likely surprise debut: Dominic Sibley as an extension of the above. Man of the Series: James Pattinson, drunk on English wickets and celebratory champagne. Result: Australia 3-2 England on boundaries scored having a halfway competent top order, and not just with sandpaper in hand.

Runs Stokes but only with 300 or so Runs Smith with around 450 Wickets... Well, its going to be Anderson or Broad isn't it, they're going to get a min of 16 to 20 overs per game with the new ball across 2 innings, if it isn't one of them they should be fking ashamed of themselves. Wickets aus, Pattinson to destroy our top order Dropping.... I actually think moving to 4 puts denly more at risk as we've loads who can bat middle order, burns only needs 1 half decent score in the first 2 tests and he's in for a while. Random debut may not be a debut if denly tanks and gaz b keeps racking up the runs..... Score, too tough to predict as at least 2 tests will be toss dependant, aus will win tho either 31 or 21

I would be amazed if the Aussies go into this Test not playing either Starc or Hazelwood for tactical reasons. But it looks like they are..

Oh and Cook will be the surprise (re) debut. The clamour will be too strong after the top order fails in the early Tests.

Warner edges behind first ball and England don't review. Oh boy.

Didn’t matter too much in the end. Oh and look he was actually pitching it up. IT WAS MISSING LEG

Chris Woakes spoils the pattern by taking the wicket of a non-sandpaper player. The umpire knew, full credit to him.

Umpiring is pretty shoddy, but both teams have DRS there and available to use so bloody use it I say! Warner and Pattinson both looked down leg in real time to the naked eye, cannot understand why they didn't question it
